I've got a couple of Sony DVD burners in my rig.......DRU 500 or something
like that. The older DVD's just seemed too expensive for the amount of data
that can be written to them so I've been backing up to HD for the last few
years. These DVD burners support double layer disks (8G). Just for grins, I
bought a few at Office Depot the other day. These are great and the write
time with these newer Sony drives is much improved compared to the
technology available 3 years ago.
