Don't know whether anybody here lives in NY or Philly but I'm playing live
every thursday Night in August at The Makor in NYC
4,11,18,25 at 8PM-we play the songs from My Cd Miles to MIles,
In the Spirit of Miles Davis (recorded and mixed on Paris)
35 west 67th street
also At The World Cafe Live in Phil,Pa on August 17th. The band is
totally Killer with the best musicia

It's been there forever and there is a smoking and non smoking area which is
totally useless because there is no partition of any sort between the two.

they serve good 'ol high cholesterol breakfast food dripping in bacon grease
and butter, ll the locals and toursits mingle, read the morning paper and
chow down while drinking mass quantities of black coffee and breathing in
the cigarette smoke laden air and listening to 70's rock on the radio.

Nothing like a little Led Zep and carbon monoxide with your eggs in the
morning.

I go there for breakfast whenever I need a cholesterol hit.

Benny is an old friend and did the demo's here a couple of years ago that
were used in the production of a CD called Old Hands by the Yonder Mountain
String Band for which he wrote many of the songs.

The other players on this project are members of the Broke Mountain
Bluegrass band. I did a demo session for them back in 2003 which opened up
some doors for them on the Bluegrass festival circuit. They have now split
up but have bought in a new guitarist named John Stigley who is nothing
short of unbelievable. I've got him set up on a mic here in the control room
