You are not stating a fact. You are lying. You did not want to purchase my entire rig. You were interested in only five PCI and expansion cards, out of the eleven that I'm currently offering, and were not interested in any of the interfaces and controllers. Your PM is archived here, I can copy/paste it if you agree.
What you attempted was to force me to accept your terms, for my sale.
You did not succeed. Now, two months later, you are trying to publicly punish my disobedience, by insinuating that I might be doing something shady, in an attempt to spoil my chances of further sales. Hence, the lie about you wanting to buy my entire rig - implying that you were supposed to "blindly" send a much larger sum of money than what was at play.
Since I started this thread I have shipped PARIS hardware to buyers from Australia, North America and Europe. If anything, bank transfer is a traditional, standard and perfectly legal payment method. None of the buyers made a big deal out of it. Had there been any issues, they would have probably found a way to warn others, on this forum and elsewhere. My user name here consists of my shortened first name and a full family name. My user name on eBay, unchanged since 1999, is my full real name, the same as my Gearplace user name.
So no, you are not wishing me luck in my selling efforts. On the contrary, your forked tongue projects your own personal integrity issues.
Your "effort" also seems to reflect a belief, a sign of the times, that basic decency has been abandoned "for good reasons" and that every nonentity with a U.S. address can, on a whim and lying through their teeth, sanction the rest of the world into submission.

First, I had interest in EVERYTHING you had listed for sale, I'm rebuilding a very large PARIS system and need cards ASAP. I do need to consider shipping costs and import duties as costs add up fast getting items to me. I asked about a bundle of cards, had that transaction went well I had planned to grab the remainder of your items. If you read my other posts on this forum you would know I've been searching for PARIS parts for a while and I'm wanting to build a 4 card system with all the I/O for the system.
Second, you then would only sell me select cards per EDS card. So while you list items for sale, you have stipulations for what items you will sell together. I had no terms outside of asking you about secure payment forms. You said bank transfer only. I accepted that and moved on. I had hoped you might change your mind as I still need cards.
Third, I'm not in the US, was not raised in the US... but I do have a US address for easier shipping for most transactions. Please don't judge me, as you know nothing about me. In the end people judge others based on themselves.
Fourth, I don't know you, thus asking for secure payment forms in 2022 is not an unreasonable request for higher amounts.
Again... best of luck selling your items.
