Yeah, it was pretty rocking, but I'm not sure if he sang in key once.
Intonation anyone? Was the monitor system that bad?

Man, Rich, you're picky! I thought he sang just fine.

He sang just like he always has...sort of in tune, but with alot of spunk
that gets him over...3 chords and 4/4 beat.

What I dig is his Quasimoto dance style

I'm not a Springsteen lover but that was a great show.
More exciting than the last few years as I recall.
His voice sounded typically rough to me but not out
of character.

I like a few of his songs, but I never thought he was a very good singer,
maybe he should have lip synched; )

I suspected she was lipping it, but she did it near perfectly.

Yeah Bill, I am picky, but I'm tired of semi talented hacks, who make their
money on a public which is essentially clueless promulgated by an industry
who has no concience or soul. Made my skin crawl. He was barely palatable to
me in the 70's when I was listening to Michael Brecker, Mozart, Coltrane,
Pastorius and Parker. That's why I have a day gig, got tired of stupid, no
money gigs. I won't appologize for being such a cermudgeon. I'll crawl back
into my crusty hole now.

I am a jazzbo myself, but I do like me some Springsteen. Of course the
dirgey folk stuff he sometimes does bores me, but Born to Run or Point
Blank - tunes like that hit me where I live.
