It took them years to figure out how to sterilize it properly first.

Actually, yes. All you need to do is replace the tubing with another
6- or 7-foot piece of clear aquarium tubing, and you're good to go.

That's the only icky part. If you want to wipe the mounting nipple
(yes, I said "mounting nipple". Get over it.) with disinfectant, you
can. Probably shouldn't spray Lysol into the throat of the driver....

As a side note -- my Talkbox is a production mate to Frampton's
original Heil Talkbox. Mine is in need of refurbishing, but it came
from the same fiberglass run that Peter's did.
