How's the heat been - both in general where you are, and inside the PARIS computer in particular? PARIS doesn't much like heat.

I agree, Kerry.
Heat can create all sorts of audio popping issues. Worst case scenario is a fried EDS. (or more specifically the fx daughterboard).
I run my Paris box with the side cover open, and one of those larger slow rpm fans (almost inaudible), blu-tacked to the bottom rear of the case, and angled toward the front to provide gentle air circulation to all four EDS's, (and in particular the daughter boards). Four EDS's with daughterboards on a standard MOBO are very dense, physically, and need a little assistance, not so much an issue during winter, but our Australian summers can get quite oppressive.
