Can you imagine having two of these quads on one mobo???..........20+GHz of
processing power running on a 64 bit system with 8+ GB RAM??? It's right
around the corner guys, or it's even here now if you use a Mac I think. I'm
going to squeeze a bit more life out of my current systems and wait for the
new AMD's which will be using floating point math.

I need to go take a cold shower now before I start fantisizing about the
octo's.
..

HI DJ,
I'm using the Quad core 6700 at home...:)
Staying away from Xeons till Steinberg figures out their issues with
multi-cores.
Oh and Reaper is the the "only" program I've seen use 8 core properly.
And UAD/TC power cores driver do not address multi-cores and will cause
performance issues with that many cores..

But hopefully AMD will come along and fix all this ...;)
