Rick,
I'm watching it on a hardware box hooked up to my TV.
It's a Phillips DVD-726. Works pretty good with most DVDs
but it's certainly not high end.

yeah, hardware boxes have problems with some vid formats. mine will
ply most but not all dvd's (non commercial) but not all perfectly.
