Anyone have any luck with Autotune in graphical mode? I'm using version 3
and can't get the t ime line in AT to start at the same time as PARIS
playback - to get it to work at all I have to first start playback and then
switch the Correct Pitch button on-off-on, but then its not in sync?? Auto
mode is ok.
Thanks

I have a similar sync problem with AT 1.0 even unsing BT's external routing
method...I thought I had it working propely at one time but I use AT so
rarely that I'm really not sure if it ever synced up...weird how the memory
goes when you get older

As far as I'm aware the only version known to work properly in graphical
mode is ver.1.3

BT's external routing method? BTW, I tried it with a demo of another
sequencer, and Wavelab, and it still didn't work right, although a little
differently.

Brian Tankersley's routing trick on the DVD

Essentially routing the audio via an external loop (hard wiring the spdif in
/ out I think) into a different channel and applying AT in realtime and
recording the results

The BT graphical mode is what I use about 95% of the time, what with some
of the people I get that think they're singers.
Works like a charm

Yep. This is true. 1.3 is the one.

You might want to look at Melodyne instead, it's easy to tweak and is quite incredible.

It would require exporting and re-importing vocal tracks (which is simple in Paris), but I much prefer it to Auto Tune.

Cheers,

TC

Thanks, I'll see if I can pick up a demo. AT 1.3 may be hard to find
anyway.

If you have a dual computer setup, as many of us do, you can run Melodyne
on the second computer running sync from Paris MTC. This gives you similar
functionality to Rewire, or Melodyne Bridge and you can play back the Melodyne
tracks in sync with the Paris tracks.

Thanks. I'll do this when I get an AI for the other computer. Was hoping
to use FXT instead, but it wouldn't work with PARIS.
