Hi all.

I've been receiving a fair amount of spam from greetingcard.org over here (which is par for the course for administering a website). But sometimes it purports to be originating from my admin email address. Now, it's pretty simple to spoof an email address, and the forum's server's on Linux and I'm on a Mac running OSX so we aren't liable to PC virus issues. But I wanted to check in and make certain nobody's receiving any spam purporting to be from myself or the forums.

Thanks - K

Just out of curiosity do you forward your admin accounts to a regular box, or access them directly?
It is slowly dawning on me that having them forwarded makes them more apt to be spammed than checking the box directly, as a matter of fact I have it on my to-do list (#24,856) to set up my admin addy's so they don't forward at all but are checked directly from my mail program just like my regular mail (has to be better than all the spam).

If I thought I could get away with it I would only allow mail from the forums mail server, but I'm afraid that would defeat my purpose.
