Heya David - yes, AATranslator has caught my eye, and it looks very cool.
Being able to open PPJs in Reaper has been a goal of mine too - what exactly is it that you'd use this functionality for yourself? I want to see how much of this we can get done "in house" via pursuing something like coding a Reaper extension.

Heh - I think pretty much all the most important history got skipped over when this thread from last October was revived. Here are more current threads with much more info for those interested in this now-fully-realized development - 1), 2), 3), 4), 5) and 6).
Folks - meet Runaway, aka Michael Rooney, who brought you the insanely cool functionality in AATranslator that allows you to translate your PARIS OMFs into a host of other formats.
I'm a licensee, I know there are others, and for those of you reading this that aren't yet licensees I'd once again strongly urge you to support this extremely PARIS-friendly development.
Heartily endorsed here - runs rock solid and never had a single issue once out of beta. Michael's app is your ticket to far greater interoperability than you've ever seen before (including translating your PARIS session into ProTools!)

Yes right up to v8.04 - we won't have a release available with this functionality just yet (lots more work to do) but the hardest part is done.
