Just so you know, we had what what supposed to be (never heard if it was)
the windiest day on record in Melbourne the other day. A lot of stuff went
haywire in this city (no environmental chats on this group though please
;o).

Part of it was that we went offline. I had some connection issues prior to
that, so that didn't help, but that day was chaos here. I think we should
be good for a bit, but the line still needs repair, so we may be on and offline
for a few days until that happens, and the telco is rather busy fixing the
chaos of course.

So I'm doing what I can to keep us afloat, rebooting the router etc, but
I expect that the majority of the issue is resolved already, and we should
be MOSTLY online from here on in.

Cheers,
Kim.

Whew. I was going through MAJOR withdrawal symptoms. There was a lot
of sweating, chills, and tremors happening here in Valpo.

This group is a drug. Plain and simple.

Hehe. It actually occured to me while it was offline that it might be a timely
reminder of what we really have here. Sometimes you don't know what you've
got until it's gone.

A nice time to remember that we should all be respectful to one another,
no matter what the opinions and the topic.

It's sure good to be back. I just hope the connection holds out until the
line can be repaired properly. At the moment we're still a bit unstable.
I'm about to sleep. I do hope we're still up in the morning. ;o)

But the server and history is all good. If we go offline again rest assured
that we will be back online at some point soon. It's just a net connection
issue with the line. We won't be losing the history or anything.

Cheers,
Kim.

Cool. I was afraid it was a horrible April Fool's joke and that you might be
back online "soon".
Thanks for the update K!
