Thanks Neil! That "thing" is a Roland SPD-S sampling percussion pad. It's
pretty cool. Using DP, I build up the samples, hits, etc. I need, save the
wav or aiff files to a compact flash card. Pop the card into the SPD-S,
assign the samples to a pad, and viola! Here's a link with some info:
