Is there any central document where people who are using PARIS with XP have listed their system hardware?

If not, could we possibly have a sticky here? It would be helpful for ppl like ME, who are thinking of migrating to XP. Anyone who is SUCCESSFULLY using a fairly modern comp with XP could just post the basics of their setup...

Motherboard, CPU, video card, PCI expansion.

This could save a lot of trial & error for some people. Namely ME Rolling Eyes

Thanks!

If you want you can do a thorougha search here at the NG, then start a
thread at the Paris wiki page posting the latest and greatest Puter setups
and you'll be entered in the Big Paris Giveaway 2009

or not

Yeah, this is *absolutely* on the to-do list, particularly because the new drivers permit new hardware combos undreamed of even a couple of years ago.

But Don nailed it, that's pretty much what I'd be doing - going through the NG and culling out info - except that it's probably a better use for my time right now to spearhead some development efforts (I have a handful in mind).

If someone wants to tackle some stuff like this, I'll build a database for it and figure a way to link it so it's user modifiable and easily searchable.

I certainly would like to see this database! I've been thinking about switching
platforms for a while now. Biggest constraints are time and money!
