Hi Mike,

I appreciate everything you've done for us.

Anyway, I replied to Kerry's "stockFX" and asked him about the XP and HT
(hyper-thread, dual/multi CPU) PSCL that you recently built. You can take a
look at that if you wish and also want to make sure you don't misinterpret
my post as a dig. Not at all. If I don't have to reboot in disable
everytime I run Paris I will be very happy. So, in essence, Kerry said he
was stable so I asked if he was in HT mode. I was also pinging the group to
see who is running in HT now.

Reason: I had a crash (error message and then blue screen) and I don't know
if it's something I did in the editor or if I missed something on the
install/replacement of the .dll or if I just had a crash because I had a lot
of windows open at the time. I am generally very stable in disable mode,
but, if I'm doing heavy edits and extreme close up work even in disable
mode, I save a lot, because I'm almost sure to get a crash now and then
during those deep editing times. Running, mixing, playback, tracking are
all stable. The crash came after about 4 hours of deep editing. Then I did
another 4 hours just fine, so it may have been just a glitch. All this in HT
mode.

But it did make me wonder if you've heard back from most of the group? Has
everyone gone to HT mode with your updated PSCL?

See other post (Kerry's "stockFX.ini" for the following. Do I need to
replace the other PSCL with no file extension in the c:\windows\system32
with one that is compatible with your updated PSCL? When I installed
skunkworks XP and subsystem files several years back two PSCL's were put in
the sys32 folder. One with a .dll and one with no file extension.

Again, thanks for all you've done.

Sincerely,
Wayne
Paris since '97
