I haven't seen anything odd here. I've been accessing the NG from both inside
and outside the network, as well as accessing the internet from my home internet
(same as the NG) without any problems.

One thing which is possible... the server does appear to have some kind
of sleep mode set on the hdd's. I've been aware of this for a while, but
have never had any complaints. I figure it will make the bearings last longer,
so if it's not bothering anybody why change it? Occassionally however the
hdd will go to sleep, and the server will not respond to the initial request
you make to it. It is possible that with so many people away at the moment
the server is going into rest mode more often, and hence you may get connection
issues, which should resolve the second time you attempt to connect.

Other than that, I'm not aware of any issues. What kind of things are you
experiencing?

Cheers,
Kim.

I had problems logging on and some posts not displaying text long lag times
between highlighting a post and the text being displayed (up to 30 seconds)
but so far today all seems well.
