So, I go to Symantec today to ask for a refund on the POS
Antivirus 2008 that would never install...
First you have to install some app to chat with them about
your problem, whereupon a nice Indian gentleman asks what
problems you could possible be having....
AND, he asks me if I would please try installing the app, just
once more...
ARRGGHHHHHHHHHHH
HELL NOOOOOOOOO! never. ever. no no no.....
Then you tell him a bit of what you have been through,
give him case numbers etc etc, and he
tells you that you need to be transferred to tech support
for further assistance...
Nope, not gonna happen... I tell him.
The product is defective -- I want a refund. Now.
So he says they will credit my card back and gives me a case
number...
We'll see.
I did have the fun of yanking everything they have ever made
off my computer however...
