Ye right,
Well the delay compensator from UAD1 is a do it b thing.
Something like that which will react automatically though when inserting
any vst effect.
There is a free program called vstspy which when run detects the actual latency
of the vst plugins and not only ,many many more info about each vst !
So there is definetely a possibility to take this further making it a vst
plugin itself and then reacting by putting just a delay of the corresponding
samples.
