Hi Don,
I've had several m-audio pieces, and they've all been great.
With the lightbridge, I'm assuming you would really only need to be
concerned with the d/a converters, since you would be using other a/d,
going to lightpipe.
You are also limited with pt m-powered to 18 i/o, if that matters.
Cheers,
TC

You can get past the 18 I/O limitation with the addition of the Music
Production Toolkit:

You still will not have ADC for plugins though (which is the biggest
knock against LE/M-powered).

Here's the solution for the ADC issue.
http://www.mellowmuse.com/ATA.html
Which brings up another point...
I'm wondering if we could convince mellowmuse to do a vst version of
this for Paris..
Cheers,
TC

Hi Kerry,
I have the Pro-Fire Light bridge and it's great!! Converters sounds really
good. It also has a stereo outs and a headphone out for monitoring via analog.
I use it for both my laptop and in the main studio adat linked to a Alesis
HD24..which is hardwired to our 56 channel Soundcraft Ghost.
I love M-Audio audio units. They just work and they make reaally reliable
drivers..
