I'm looking for a reasonably priced Seagate 80GB, 8 MB cache, IDE
with the 5 year warranty. Does anyone know which model number is=20
the right one?

I found this: ST380013A-RK Looks right to me except it's 40 pin...
I thought the new ones were 80 pin? =20

They are hoping to get in around $80.00. =20

This line look spretty suspicious:

> c.. Maximum External Transfer Rate : 100 Mbps

The small 'b' means bits, which would make this drive transfer at 12.5 megabytes
per second.

Did this come right from the Seagate site?

All the best,

Mike

I found the drive at TigerDirect for $79.99
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-det ails.asp?EdpN=
o=3D586888&Sku=3DS130-1202&SRCCODE=3DPRICEGRABBER&am p;CMP=3DOTC-PRICEGRABBER

plus shipping to MA is about $89.00. That's the best I could find.
Newegg doesn't sell this model AFAICS.

Thanks for the help everyone.
Tom

This line look spretty suspicious:

The small 'b' means bits, which would make this drive transfer at 12.5 =
megabytes
per second.

Did this come right from the Seagate site?

All the best,

Mike
