both #3 ram slots would go bad on my dual 2.3. i've swapped ram into
the slots and nothing but putting the ram into slots #4 they both show
up fine. it would be nice that when stuff like this happens the puter
would let you know. the only reason i found out was due to showing
the intern here the inner workings of the mac.

Only you rick! Take it in to an Apple store. Get the ram double checked.

the ram works in the other slots but none work in slots 3 including
the original shipped ram.

yeah, covering my ass has not been one of their hallmarks. i did buy
one of their vacuums (the isuck) but it didn't...err...well actually
it did cuz it didn't.
