I thought this was something you guys should see, if you missed it. It's
vary sad and shameful.

Those Nazis were some evil m/fers. The Norwegians fought more bravely
against the Nazis than any other country except perhaps Greece, and the
Greeks only had Italians to face, so that hardly counts (in their favor,
the Italians' hearts were not really in it like the Germans).

The Norwegians also lost most of their merchant marine (the world's
largest before the war) running lend lease war goods and munitions from
USA to Europe and Russia. I know something about this because my
grandfather was in NYC during the war and he was in charge (with my
father under him) of the entire Norwegian merchant marine, thousands of
ships in all the oceans. My grandparent's house in Oslo was commandeered
as officer's quarters. My grandmother was still living there throughout
the war.

My point is not to excuse the behavior of the Norwegian war survivors
and their alleged ill treatment of these innocent children, but to tell
what probably motivated them to act against normal good human nature.

My dad was in the merchant marines for part of WWII. He was stationed at
Sheepshead Bay NY. He was also a sergeant in the Army in Fort. Hood TX.

My Dad used to sing that. (He was military police in WWII)

As a kid I thought it was about the funniest thing I had ever heard.
