PARIS MAC USERS: HELP NEEDED [message #104437] |

Hi all. We have fresh eyes working on the "libsndfile doesn't work with Mac 24-bit PAFs" problem right now, but we could use some new test files and I can't generate them (I'm on PC PARIS and those files work fine). Could some PARIS Mac user create some short 24-bit PAF files (five seconds max) at both 44.1 and 48k, zip them and upload them here to this thread ASAP for testing purposes? It doesn't matter what's in them, any audio will do.
Thanks!

John - we only need a few two-to-five second 24-bit PAF samples (small is good for test files). This is just so we have access to a range of files to comprehensively test the "endian" issue against, to make sure we get a lasting, definitive "never see this ancient bug again" fix. Since they're going to be small files you can upload them directly here at the forums easily enough without zipping them.
Just 1) hit "post reply", 2) using the button below the text box, "browse" for the file you want to upload, 3) select it and hit "open", and once the name shows up in the box below, hit the "upload file" button next to it. That ought to do it.
I'd still be delighted to hear the project though (although there are far better mixers on the forums than myself to get advice from) so I'll send you my snailmail separately too!
