what's the easiest way to get my tonlab le toslink SPDIF output into the rme
9652 9 pin D conneector SPDIF input ?

I have the D to stereo phono/D adapter so I guess I need to go from SPDIF
toslink to 2 phono connectors. Is there an SPDIF Toslink to stereo phono
converter for a few bucks ?

HI John,

The RME cards ADAT1 ports can be configured to be used as TOSLink.

In the Hammerfal setting panel set SPDIF IN to ADAT 1. Set the clock to
auto sync.and Pref Sync Ref to SPDIF IN.

seems like Midiman made little boxes like this a few years back. I have a
flying cow or calf or something like that - it is similar but not exctly
what you're looking for, I'm sure Google will turn something up (or ebay)
for you to check out.

for 24 bit capability, use the MAudio C02 - I have two of these. They work
great
