Yeah but most importantly are you eating any better......
my latest creation www.kfocus.com/pizza4.jpg

hehe, I'm on cubase 4 now with 3 digimax's and all the good stuff. Loving
it. Paris was never reliable for me so after 6 years i pulled the plug.
Patient huh? The channel is still great with all the usual audio and political
discussions. My setup is finally golden so I'm expecting to actually have
something tangible soon as Edmund would say. You know SSC passed away and
Edmund has been working for the government and never posted here again.
The days of stoning are gone, you can stay and be family again. Welcome
back !!

Hey Brad, some of us come and go depending on our schedules and travel etc.

I see you are setting a good example for all your gear-hungry customers.

Do you have any neck problems with the monitor up there? I worked for
about 3 months every day with a monitor I had to look up at and I had
some serious tweaky nerves in my neck.

Hi Brad,

Nice looking studio. Nice to hear from your again. Do you do part time work
as a short order fry cook using the face plates of those ADL's that are
stack racked?

;o)

no problems at all, I lean back in my chair and it's straight ahead that way.
I have the 19" monitor and that 32" display used in various scenarios.
I mix to picture often, so sometimes I'll use that as the playback monitor
while other times I'll use it when I'm editing or just mixing. When I'm in
the process of EQing and setting up a mix or tracking, I'll have everything
on the smaller monitor and then it turns into a display of the other room.
I'm actually going to be converting my garage into the full studio at some
point now the fiance and kids are moved in.

Doug Joyce? Man I love those ADL600's, I'm getting a third. I actually made
drastic changes---I had (3) Liquid Channels and was about to buy (2) more,
but decided to go another direction. There's a new product coming I'm not
allowed to talk about yet, but I'm buying it when it's out. It's going to
be one of the most revolutionary pres you'll see to date.

But yeah, those ADL's get HOT! Actually, all of my pres are either Tube
or Transformer-based. I have a separate room air conditioner with volume
control-ahhhhhhhhhhh. On the table to the right is an SSL channel strip,
to my surprise--it doesn't get that hot. Go figure!

Eating better? :-( no..... Actually, I have been doing better lately--my
fiance made me :-) SSC passed away?????? WOW! About two years ago, I went
through a scare of my own. I had major health problems with my breathing
for three years, well it took that long to figure out the problem. I was
choking, I had muscle hanging into my throat and making me pass out. I almost
died actually because I was suffocating. So they had to put me in for major
re-constructive throat surgery, I was home for about 6-weeks on bed rest
taking 1,000mg of hydrocodeine around the clock every 2-hours for 10-days!
Yeah, I was in la-la land :-)

At least you found the problem.......but ya know, some people actually get
their kicks that way....;o)....I'm doing the "you gotta' lower your
cholesterol" thing right now. No more breakfast tacos for a while. Oatmeal
is sooooo boring....but hey......I'm regular (you needed to hear that, right
:?)

Yeah........

Too bad you can't get a prosthetic Autotune unit installed when you're in
the shop for repairs like that, huh?

Get your doc to give you a scrip for this stuff called Niaspan.
All it is is a time-release form of niacin (vitamin B3), but
you can't get it OTC... it's not too expensive, and it'll help
more than any diet, and in terms of possible side-effects it's
WAY better than going on Lipitor, or any of those other things,
assuming it works in your case (it only takes a month to find
out, do it for four weeks, then get your cholesterol checked
again & see if it's working for you - obviously not everything
works for everyone in the same way).

My doctor uses it himself, and he's got me on it now... my
cholesterol had headed towards 220, and after 4 weeks of
nothing but oatmeal breakfasts & no fat, no red meat, no eggs,
etc, etc, I went back in to have it checked & it had gone up to
250; and in fact, my good cholesterol had gone down! Doc says
he had the same thing happening to him, and despite diet,
excercise, etc, his #'s were way over 300... went on Niaspam &
all's well. He's a young guy, too - in his 30's, I'd guess, not
overweight, doesn't smoke, etc... it's just a genetic thing for
a lot of people.

BRAD!!!

Nice to hear from you man. It has actually been years! You were one of
the originals from the first people to post here back in the old days.
I am still using Paris exclusively, but it is just for me and my music,
or for some friends. Not a business.

I still don't eat meat either. Just fish & veggies. Feel great at 59 too,
except for the arthritis in my hands bothering me.

My site is www.enchantedvibrations.com There is even a video on one of my
concerts there.

Congrats on getting engaged! I am happy for you.

Later................... and stay well.
