Hi all. Have a customer who has a PARIS system (black parts with EDS1000
PCI card) and recently reformatted his system and reinstalled Windows 98
second ediiton. Installed PARIS 2.1 and the 1.05 drivers for the EDS1000
and have run into a problem. Hooked up the MEC to the EDS1000 card (through
the 50-pin HD interface) and that seems to work ok, but when I hook up the
mixer board (to the RJ45 interface) it doesn't light up. Wiggled the cable
and the lights would flicker. Figured this may be a problem with the port.
What bothers me though is that this all worked fine a week ago. Looked
at the pins and they look a little flimsy so now I am really wondering.
Anyone else have this problem or anyone who could suggest another possible
solution? If you can offer any help, it would be greatly appreciated. If
not, is there any place that will fix them or sell an EDS1000 board? Checked
ebay but with no real results. Again, any help is appreciated. Thanks.
