PARIS MIDI support is less than basic and, judging by my experience, not
solidly implemented. Trying to use it productively was an excercise in
futility.
I used a dual 1GHZ G4 which was great for PARIS audio work (but for
MIDI, fuhgetaboutit!). I think maybe dual 1.33 was the last G4 before
booting into OS9 was left behind.
BTW, dual 2.5GHZ G5 with MacOSX is _very_ nice with Logic for audio and
MIDI, with the exception of one pesky bug that sometimes requires
reloading projects periodically when using soft synths.
