Howdy, kids. I've started fresh with my Paris/XP installation. I'm still having
trouble with occasional freezes, plus a few MEC misses on startup. I've loaded
in the config file from Kerry's website, and am starting the XP tweaks now.
Should I also install the updated Pcsl update? And where do I find it?

Thanks,
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,

Are you using a hyperthreaded or multicore CPU? If so, I just posted a New
PSCL and a new scherzo driver. I recommend them. Let me know how it goes.

If you've got a single core CPU, PARIS shouldn't be freezing with the old
drivers, and these may not help. It couldn't hurt to try, though.

All the best,

Mike

My motherboard has two CPUs, far as I can tell. Both around 3 gig.

You need the update for PARIS to work.

Mike, you're a prince. I'll plug those files in first thing tomorrow and report
back.

Why oh why did I ever fry my 5-slot P-III motherboard? Four EDS cards, not
one little hiccup for years. One of my major regrets...
