It's odd, but on some projects, after I have been editing for a while, the
time line will quit moving, but the music plays on. If I quit the program
and start up again, it will be ok for a while.

I'm assuming you're talking about the now line in the editor window...it's a
glitch...just close that window and reopen it and bob's your uncle the now
line's moving again

This happens when you have the two extra "non tracks" at the bottom of
the edit window viewable... resize your window so you can't see them.
