Hi All,

I finally sold my Paris system. I'm annoyed with myself I didn't advertise it here, but I couldn't find this group (has it moved in the last few months???).

Anyway, I'm trying to do the right thing by the buyer and I've downloaded Paris V3.0 for him, and am wanting to get the skunkworks plugs for him. Unfortunately, I've misplaced mine and all I'm left with is the records of purchases from Chuck Duffy at Paypal;

2 x $40
2 x $50
1 x $30
1 x $10

I'm pretty sure I had the EQ pack, Even titer, Modpack, No Limit & Pseudo. Since I believe Chuck Duffy doesn't deal with this anymore ( the links on the PARIS FAQ's are all broken) does anyone know if it's even possible to get a copy of these with proof of purchase?

I know, it's my own darn fault for not backing stuff up. It is backed up somewhere, but it's in the attic - which is to say, it'll probably surface around the same time that talking apes take over the world and Charlton Heston comes to visit in a spaceship <obscure film reference, anyone?>.

If someone could either point me in the right direction or just let me know I'm screwed, I'd sure appreciate it.

Cheers

Markus

Heya Markus... point by point:

1) The group didn't move, per se. These forums (and blog and wiki) were an add-on to the NG with a tighter focus on current use and active development. The NG continued unchanged and the two venues were run in cooperation and sync by design until Kim shut the NG down some months back to pursue personal travel. But having said that - you'll see lots of familiar faces here. Don't be misled by the "logged in" list either - by design this forum can be either be read via login, read without logging in, or even read via RSS etc; the contents can even be "pushed" via email, it's all designed to get info out to PARIS folks in whatever form they prefer. Folks tend to log in to do something in particular like post a thread or comment. I use a combo of methods depending on which computer I'm reading from.

2) I don't want to promote mistaken info (and I hope Chuck will correct me if I'm mistaken) - but I believe the Skunkworks plugins were all eventually released into the community as a gift from Chuck. This is, of course, in their "as originally released by the Skunkworks" form - for example, Mike has now released an upgraded version of NoLimit and that upgraded version's available for purchase through his site. So it's more a matter of physically finding the originals. As far as I know they all still actually exist on Doug Wellington's PARIS FAQs site but the links got scrambled in a server move. Read this thread for the process to locate and download them.

I should probably ask Chuck if it's cool with him for me to get them all organized and served in the "reference library" section of the Wiki with updated documentation (another item on a decent sized "to do" list Very Happy).
