Here you go I found a use for PT you just track in PT so the customer
walks away thinking they are using "the best tools". They leave you pull
the files into PARIS and mixdown the now great sounding music pull the
24 bit mixdown wavs into Samplitude master and dither using POW-r and
this is what you get.

http://www.myspace.com/thejtb

All 3 songs done this way.

Let me know what you think!

PS I let the drummer whose studio we used for tracking and owned it
before we formed the band together. Anyway he "was" a bigtime PT
defender that was completely put out that I insist all the mixing be
done in PARIS and not his PT rig, till he heard PARIS and asked "how can
I make my PT mixes sound like that?", my response "You can't!"

And yes I know what you PT guys are thinking, "Yes I can all I need is a
Trident console to mixdown with!" :)

Pretty cool... nice stuff.

Only thing I could suggest is to consider making the
transitions "bigger"... it seems in each of those songs there's
a transition (like from the verse to the chorus, etc) that is
kinda begging for another guitar to be added in at the time it
hits, lead vox to be doubled, or some such stuff like that.

I like it though, nice work! :)
