Ok everybody, I just got this in the mail today. Seems like this little guys
might be cool.

Upon initially hooking it up and a/b-ing it with the internal Paris clock, I
can certainly hear a difference. I would describe it as a 'tighter' sound -
less boomy subharmonics, and it sounds like there's less 'missing'
frequencies in the lower to middle midrange stuff. ?? Something like that.

I need a little help with testing it. What would I be looking for if I'm to
hook this up to a scope?

thanks,
-Carl

Hey Carl,

Will this improve sound clarity when monitoring realtime?
Like if I am playing live and monitoring thru a couple of stereo channels?

thx,
b

I'm not totally sure, but I wouldn't think so. Also, I'm not talking a major
overhaul on clarity with this (or any word clock, I presume). It's
noticeable in a subtle way.

rock on,
-Carl .

Yeah David, I'm kinda thinking that too - but it'd still be cool to have
some stats *and* I do happen to have a scope, so....

This thing is truely no-frills compared to the competition. It's got four
BNC outputs, and that's it. So you're out of luck if you wanna hook anything
else up, but for $63 (plus shipping)...... I also just ordered a rackmount
face plate for it (Hosa PPP-000) for just over $13 (plus shipping).

If anyone's interested, I found the best deal at this place
http://www.avalive.com .

-Carl
