I'm listening to various songs and on some of them an instrument is the same
in both channels except in one channel there is room ambience/reverb and
in the other none.

It's a great effect because the instrument seems to stay centered in the
mix yet have a stereo image to it.

So what's going on in the brain here. What is it our ears are really hearing.
Is it making our brain hear the instrument in 2 acoustic spaces making it
much more interesting with this effect?

It's a great trick. I just want to know what you guys think.
