Yeah, it's pretty cool. The MIDI just isn't there for me, and I'm really addicted
to Live now. But for a more traditional track/edit/mix scenario I can see
it being as good as anything.
It also reminds me of my favorite DJ app, DJ Decks (www.djdecks.be). Instead
of paying big bucks for the NI or Stanto stuff and being locked into their
hardware this will work with any ASIO card and an RIAA preamp. Cool skins
are available and the developer fixes bugs in days, responds to feature requests
in the forums. Pretty cool.

It will be interesting to see if I can get my Steiny Houston controller to
interface with Reaper in HUI mode via midi. If not, I'm gonna have to snag
an MCU. I've been considering that anyway but I'm waiting until the new
Mackie USB based CUs hit the streets and the bottom falls out of the prices
for the older (and more functional ) midi MCU's.

O'Yeah....BTW, I just picked up one of these......I never knew they even
existed and I need to interface:
6 x midi I/O ports on 3 x HDSP 9652's
1 x midi I/O port on a Multiface
1 x midi I/O port on Houston
1 x Midi I/O port on PadKontrol
1 x Midi I/O port on MR Rack
1 midi O port on keyboard controller
For a guy who hates and doesn't use much midi, I've got wayyyy too much of
it and I'm sick of crawling around repatching things and when I started
looking for options with over 8 x midi I/O there wasn't anything. I was
lucky to have found this thing.. It willeven merge midi on ports 1 & 2
(whatever TF that means ;o)
