Hey!
I've been working a lot with cubase and Paris, but lately it's been almost
only cubase. I picked up my paris rig in a local studio here in town, they
been renting it for around two years. I want to open a OMF-file that I
export from cubase and import it in Paris but no go. Do any of you guys know
a workaround for this? I really would appreciate any help on this.

There aren't any work arounds.
OMF in Paris was very poorly implemented, and didn't seem to conform to any
of the OMF guidelines.
Sometimes it works, (partially), sometimes not at all, but even at it's
best, it was still not adequate,
