Hey, hang on a minute, don't know E-Bows. E-bows are very cool, as I
mentioned above complete with demo (see my post early in this thread 3/21/07
3:50 AM). You can get some beautiful, ethereal sounds with these, and they
even work on steel string acoustics. The first time I heard an E-Bow was
about 1974 on an album by Dick Glass (remember him?) called "The Eloquent
Elephant." He did a version of Over the Rainbow" and the E-Bow work by
guitarist Geoff Levin is what inspired me to get one, that is, after Dick
explained to me what that gorgous sound was.

I'd have to agree. I have a guitar player friend here that uses one, (uses
Paris also)and he gets really incrediable sounds with it. I also worked on
a project a few months age that Goffrey Moore (Jonatha Brooke)did some amazing
e-bow stuff on.
Maybe they had to work hard to tame the thing...I don't know, but it sure
sounded cool.
As a side note, check out my guitar buddy's website, if you ever have any
guitar needs. (I played drums on all but a couple of the tracks).

OK, Maybe I should give the EBow another try. The last time I used one was
1979 or so...
