Sooooooo.......does this mean I won't have to think anymore and when I open
an app it will automatically know the hotkey commands of said app and will
light them up on the keys so I won't have to think
anymore................hmmmmm...........I might have to think about getting
one of these.

Just the other day I bought these for my Cubase rig so I wouldn't have to
think:

http://www.editorskeys.com/main.asp?currency=usd

I'm sure someone here could come up with something similar for Paris
keyboard shortcust if they thought about a bit. I'd even buy a set of them
so I wouldn't have to.......errrrr............uhhhhhh..........

No what *this* means Deej is that you will soon have one more peripheral
cutting in to your downtime action. What *we* get is several more great
posts from you beginning "Damned #%&*#@..." through which, we shall all live
richly, even if vicariously.

You have no idea how close I came today to saying "yes" to building an
Opteron rig for a studio in Texas. Having never built an Opteron rig, this
would have surely provided entertainment for weeks. Right now I'm just
trying to get my head around why my Lexicon MRC isn't working. That's enough
grief for the moment..........actually, it's almost enough to persuade me to
use software instead (gasp!!!).......but the spirit of the Studio Of The
Living Dead has commanded that I use an LXP-1 in a certain drum submix so I
must obey.

Keep thinking about it. This thing has been floating around out there
for at least a couple years... they have yet to have anything but the
spiffy pix on the website. Same pix, as well.

Deej,
You know you have to push the little 'learn' button to get them
to communicate right? The package I sent you would have worked
out of the box. If you swapped a few around (I know you have others)
they may need to be 'taught' to communicate with the learn button on the =
right.

I think the procedure is hold the button on the LXP-1 while sending the =
command
from the MRC. It's been about 15 years since I did it last. Also make =
sure you're
sending data out of the correct port on the MRC.

Or was that my Niche' module? . . .

This is a different MRC. I'm doing a little surgery on the buzz on the =

Hey Tom,

This is a different MRC. I'm doing a little surgery on the buzz on the =
one you sent but yes, it communicates just fine. No problem with it =
buzzing BTW........we had discussed this and I'm very happy with deal..

Deej,
You know you have to push the little 'learn' button to get them
to communicate right? The package I sent you would have worked
out of the box. If you swapped a few around (I know you have =
others)
they may need to be 'taught' to communicate with the learn button on =
the right.

I think the procedure is hold the button on the LXP-1 while sending =
the command
from the MRC. It's been about 15 years since I did it last. Also =
make sure you're
sending data out of the correct port on the MRC.

Or was that my Niche' module? . . .
Tom

Let's all send them some money so they will have the capital to bring the

Where did you see it? They aren't even shipping the three button unit yet.

I absolutely promise you that at least two hundred venture capitalists with
tens of billions of money to dribble about have looked at this. Maybe the
next one will bite.
