Thanks Ted. It was so nice working within PARIS again as that smooth top end is unbeatable IMHO and the PARIS sound so effortlessly gels together. All the modern interfaces have so much more top end that I'm always dealing with it, and find I spend too much time removing unwanted top end compared to PARIS where I just spend 5 seconds adding a little here and there. PARIS saved me hours instantly despite being over 20 years old at this point. It was wild to realize that the 3K interface I bought just a few years back was inferior in build and sound quality to the Ensoniq MEC. I'm wanting to grab extra PARIS parts and experiment with Mike's ASIO drivers and test running Studio One with PARIS I/O into my API Box for a hybrid sound that is unique sounding.
