Does anyone know of an EQ plugin that can go up to 32khz (a la'
the Massenburg hardware units)? I'm experimenting with
something & need an EQ plug that can boost or cut up in that
range.
TIA.

Dolphins, actually.

No, I'm doing some mastering experiments & I need an EQ that
goes up to 32k, and price-wise a Massenburg is out of the
question. I have an Avalon 737, the high band of which goes up
to 32k, but again, since I'm just tweaking/toying with this at
the moment, I can't really justify getting another one of those
just for an experiment, either.

So, do you know of a plugin EQ that goes up that high,
perchance? Either a freebie or one that has a demo version that
I could try would be ideal at this stage.

This goes to 30khz. They have a cheaper 3-band version as well.

That is my favorite EQ by a country mile. A giant resource hog at the
high quality settings. You won't believe how sweet it sounds, though. It
is the only digital EQ I really love.

I tried the Massenburg demo on my 6000 for the same reasons. It’s nice but
I didn’t go for it. I thought my Refined Audiometrics was equal to it.

I still prefer analog EQ and compression for mastering or 2-bus work most
of the time and a touch of the MD3 Stereo Mastering package for final when
needed.

The 6000 is a serious box.

It IS a CPU pig. I may still have a version of that somewhere,
tho... i'll check & see. I had forgotten that it went up to
30k.
