Hey there guys, been out of the loop for a while, hope you are all keeping musically engaged. My old Paris rig running on ME has imploded and I'm trying to set up a new rig on XP. I believe I followed the installation correctly as per Chris Thoman and Mike Audet, downloading and installing PACE, the XP driver, placing the effects library in the same path as Paris, but I can't even get the program to open. Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Rich

When I boot up the computer, the first thing that gets my attention is: NVIDIA reports that the graphics card is not receiving sufficient power. Wow, I just learned that there may be a supplimental power connector not hooked up? I should probably start there.

Gigabyte EP35-DS3R
NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400
Intel Core 2 Quad
2 Gig Ram, only 1 Gig installed at the moment

I've worked out the video issue...... forgot to connect the PCI express adapter cable. Anyway, I still cannot get the program to open up. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Rich

Intel Core 2 Quad ?

It looks like you need the multicore driver (mike audet's one).

Maybe there's some other things, but this one is probably a must as the standard XP driver is not multicore compliant.

hope this helps
