I'm considering purchasing an analog board as a front end to Paris, then editing
in Paris and then mixing back out on the board. Kind of as a Radar setup,
with Paris substituting for the Radar. Anyone doing this already, or know
if this would be a positive venture?
I'm looking at the new Toft boards and also an old Amek Angela.

I wouldn't recommend this, only because the Paris mixer is, in my opinion,
the key feature of the DAW. There are some odd workarounds that have to be
considered with it, however, it *sounds* fantastic.

thanks Lamont, that's what i've been thinking as far as mixes. Keeping that
Paris sound and possibly expanding the stereo image.
I know most people are selling off their old boards and doing more and more
mixing in the box (or always have). I could be totally thinking wrong here
or just going in the wrong direction, but i've been thinking of going for
that organic sound and thought Paris would be the perfect "tape" machine
for this. Any other possible problems i may be facing going this route?
