Vocals Plugin - Breath [message #102953]

Hey folks. I had a plugin once that "added" breath to your vocals. When i
returned from overseas in 07, somehow I lost it. I have restored and rebuilt
my studio computer several times and when you build from scratch, plugins
are something you just don't think about. Anyway, I have search the complete
Internet... lol. And all that comes up in my searches is plugins that "remove"
breath from vocals.

Does anyone remember or know of a audio plugin that "adds" breath to vocals?
I know it was a DX, but I would prefer VST.

I been listening to a CD remix and remastered I done in 2006 and it had that
plugin on a few slow melody-type songs on the vocals. On female vox, it
sounded awesome. Especially for the ladies that like to sing like a chorus
instead of a lead singer. It actually made some of the solos sound more
natural.

Any help?

So it adds kind of a breath track?

I would guess probably Avox or TC (no relation) something or other.

I'm guessing that Avox was the one.

Nope... neither of them seem familiar; however looking at the AVOX, that "Throat"
looks like it might do the same thing. I don't remember the plugin having
a picture of a throat like that, but the controls seem the same. I think
I might look into that one if I can't find it... Thanks for your help...

Hey Ed,
I use Waves Mordorpher for adding "breath".
I start with the whisper preset and modify to taste.
Try it and let me know what you think!

Hey Ed,
I use Waves Mordorpher for adding "breath".
I start with the "whisper" preset and modify to taste.
