Having been so far unable to get to the bottom of my Error 2/2 problem
(earlier post), I have this question:

anybody else using a standard SCSI2 cable instead of the original MEC one?
should it make any difference?
I'm beginning to fear the worst that the MEC, or connector on the EDS card
is bad.

thoughts?

thanks

Kerr

It is just a standard cable. It sounds like you need to start swapping some
parts to troubleshoot. Are you near anyone else with a Paris system ?

thnx john,

as for being near anyone else.........?

I'm in Dundee, Scotland. I used to work for EMU when we were selling Paris
so I know there was very little uptake in these parts.

But if there's anyone in the near (or not so near!) vacinity can help me out
with testing my MEC, EDS, and cable, I'd be most appreciative.

c'mon now, form a queue!
