I went and checked out XXcopy and noticed there was also XXclone. Which would
be better and why. thanks Jim

It looks to me like xxclone is the newer version of xxcopy. They refer to
xxcopy as cloning the win9.x system and xxclone doing xp so I would do xxclone.
In fact I'm going to do one in a few mins so I'll report back.

xxclone is the one I had been using to copy my drive to make a backup. It's
not even a system drive but xxclone works great ! 130gb takes about 2 hours.

HI Jim,
If you want a full featured backup program that will work on current
hardware and OS's I would highly recommend Paragon Softwares Hard Disk
Manager Suite or Drive Backup Personal or Pro editions..
Any one of these programs have fast and reliable backup and recover
options. The recover options are the best I've seen for a backup
program. They even are working on a version to be fully functional with
OSX and boot camp setups. Very cool.
