Good educational materials are priceless.
You know for years I know what sounds good to my ears but the hardest thing
to do is to learn the way to recreate what you hear. Through the last educational
recording materials I purchased I learned that the Acoustic guitar sound
that I love to hear is a six string with nashville tuning. I have also reaffirmed
that my ears love ribbon mics...which I still dont have. I really really
need to find a way to get into a ribbon mic. I really want to get a stereo
ribbon mic like the one from Cascade. I have an extra Mackie HR824 never
been out of he box that I think I am going to have to sell. I have been holding
onto it for years just incase someone stuck their headstock into the speaker
cone.
