He was a great drummer and one of my favorites. I met him a few times he
was a real nice guy. I asked him why he no longer played with the Knack,
He told me that Doug Figer, Attorney Jeffery Figer's brother, had cheated
him out of the money. He felt that he wrote the signature drum parts, some
of the song parts and that he should have been compensated fairly. They
cut him out, he had no royalties, he was never paid any residuals, and they
replaced him. Doug Figer ask him to come back to play with the Knack several
times. Bruce said he would come back if Doug would Pay him fairly for his
contribution to the Knack and acknowledgment for contributing to the song
writing, Doug refused. Bruce told me that he didn't think that he would
be playing with the knack ever again.

I'm sad to hear about Bruce's passing.
