or buy, but no luck!

I don't know it as a band, its the title of a song on the Dukes of the Stratosphere
albumn from when I was back in college. That was an alias for XTC, it was
one of their little side projects.

The band took their name from that song. Apparently they broke up in 2000
just before launching a national tour. The woman who sang and played keys
is looking for an engineer/producer to work with (in other words - a spec
production deal) and I'm intrigued. I'd like to track down a copy of the
band's CD "Behave" but it's out of print.

I love XTC. I know that doesn't help you at all. Just had to say that. :)

How 'bout here? http://cdbaby.com/cd/brainiac And while you're at CD Baby,
be sure to check out "Wayward" by Sarahtonin, a truly fabulous CD that has
nothing at all to do with me personally. :)

I found a Brainiac's Daughter song here,
http://www.ilike.com/artist/brainiacsDAUGHTER but that's about it for my
search.

You probably already found this stuff, huh? Oh well, good luck.

Hi Sarah,

I had, in fact, found the cdbaby page but not the other one.. So now, at
least, I've heard one of their tunes.

Oh - While I was at cdbaby.com I accidently bought the Sarahtonin CD. Oops!
Was it recorded and mixed in Paris?

Hey, thanks for the accidental purchase of Wayward. I hope you weren't
hurt. :)

Yes, it was recorded and mixed in its entirety in PARIS using actual human
being musicians, 99% midi-free. (the 1% is the occasional click provided by
Cubase). Hope you like it. :)
