Been using Jam, but it's pretty limited. Also Peak lite is too lite for serious
work. What are you faves?

TIA,
Dale

I don't know Jam. Are you talking about mastering as in finalizing a track
with EQ and compression, or are you asking about arranging tracks, setting
overall levels and burning a cd? (I use Paris directly into an HHB for most
of my stuff since it's long form ambient. If I need to manipulate shorter
tracks, I use CD Architect.)

Dale,
Older TC Spark / XL works well for me, runs XLNT under OS9.1 and 9.2. Spark
v2.5 is the last version that will run on 9.2.
I also have Bias Peak 3, which I like a lot, but I have to run it on a different
Mac running OSX.
If you search eBay for a while for TC Spark 2.5, 2.2 or 2.0, you
might be able to get a good deal.
Cheers, simmo.

Also older Waveburner Pro. Runs great on 9.2.2 Allows graphic
arrange and crossfade/cut etc, any VST plugins on your system, plus comes
with a bunch of Logic plugins bundled.

Hey Dale,
I master with Paris. (Well, for me it's really not "mastering" but more
correctly, "the-process-that-is-known-as-mastering.") I import the mixdown
file and go from there.
Cheers,
MR

I have setup my mac as a duel boot with OS X. I master in waveburner wich
comes with logic.
I mix back into Paris , export the files as Wav or SD2 and then import them
in Waveburner in OS X. I do need an M Audio card for OS X .All works great.
I cant use ASIO in OS 9 sa it wont work with three cards, only one or two.
