Hey DJ, we have a SSL 4000 G(E series Eqs) and the wave SSL plugs nails the
comps and eq's. AND, from what I hear, the Duende plugs are better!! :)
Using Nuendo, inserting the SSL buss comp does the same thing as the real
board does.. The trick is to push the .:
-Make up (knob) 10
-Release auto (Auto)
-Threshold (1'oclock)
-Attack (1 or 3 )
-Ratio (4)
All in all, PUSH THE MAKE UP!!! AND PULL THE THRESHOLD.. Man, you can feel
you mix tighten up :)..
