Hi all,

Long time PARIS user (almost 20 years) but just getting back on here after being absent for a while. I'm noticing some EDS cards for sale in various places that don't come with the ribbon cables (i.e. not EDS-1000X cards). Seems to me that buying some short 10cm long 16 pin and 10 ping cables on eBay (or wherever) would do the trick. Something as this, e.g.

(not sure if that URL will show up in the post; if not search eBay for "16 pin ribbon cable 10cm" and you should find it pretty easily).

The ribbon cables are just straight through with nothing particular unique about them as far as I can tell.

So, am I correct here? Or is there something special about the ribbon cables that would make the EDS-1000X cards that much more valuable?

Thanks. I had noticed they had some listed on the site but I didn't know if it was current or not (i.e. if they still have them for sale or not).
